Oh how I wish someone would have told me I was coming at math allllll wrong!

The very cool thing about homeschooling is you get to start at the very beginning of math and get inspired! Step by step you grow in the math alongside your children.

One of the smartest things you can do is to research what mathematicians love about math. Every subject is an art form and the key is learning to find the beauty, magic, and inspiration in it. Then, each year you build on that. Of course math has its tedious side. There is work involved. It does have its tasking and repetition....BUT! Take it slow, break it down and learn to build with it.

This is how rocket ships are made! This is how the design of a flower has beauty! This is how we track and build our wealth! This is how we measure our favorite recipes!

My favorite starts included Pattern blocks, Counting cubes, Dot-To-Dot, Visual math books, Cooking with measuring cups, Building small projects with rulers, Legos, Games, etc.

Pinterest has tons of ideas. Etsy is full of inspiration!
Amazon has books galore to help you, and social media pages are full of people that know how to love math.

You can do this and love doing it at the same time! Curiosity is key!
